A fascinating new urban fantasy realm to explore!

Alexandra Ivy’s Born in Blood is a book that grabbed me from the first page. The gritty urban fantasy landscape that Ive created - where the paranormal realm coexists alongside the mundane mortal world - is fascinating. 

Mixing police procedural and a psychic CSI-type vibe, the characters are compelling. What at first seems to be a slightly baffling crime, soon becomes much more, as Police Sergeant Duncan O’Conner consults with Callie Brown, who can channel the dead, discovering a murderer who seemingly knows no limits. 

There are plot twists and turns that I never anticipated - and kept me flipping the pages like mad. I was fascinated by Callie and found Duncan to be one of those heroes you just have to crush on. So, if you’re looking for a fascinating new urban fantasy realm to explore, pick up Alexandra Ivy’s Born in Blood.
